A New York City-based behavioral health network is seeking a new Vocational Specialist for a promising opportunity with their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Queens.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (Includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break)
- Setting: Hybrid (3-4 days fieldwork, 1-2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Conducting vocational assessments and developing individualized job training plans
- Assisting clients in job search strategies and securing employment
- Providing vocational training and leading workshops
- Building relationships with local employers
- Serving as a liaison between clients and vocational or educational settings
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, and/or Vocational Rehabilitation
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically AccuMED
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Cultural competence in serving diverse populations
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Certification in Vocational Rehabilitation
- Experience in Vocational Counseling or related areas
