A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Visual Communications Designer to join its Organizational Development (OD) team. This contractor will support enterprise-wide learning initiatives by transforming OD deliverables into polished, visually engaging materials that enhance storytelling and learner engagement.

About the Opportunity:
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible based on project needs)
- Setting: Open to Pensacola, FL; Vienna, VA; or Remote
Responsibilities:
- Transforming OD deliverables (PowerPoint decks, frameworks, and models) into visually compelling materials
- Applying modern design principles to improve clarity, flow, and engagement for adult learning audiences
- Collaborating with OD team members to align visuals with messaging, audience, and learning objectives
- Creating supporting assets, including icons, diagrams, infographics, and templates
- Ensuring all visuals adhere to brand, tone, and accessibility standards
- Managing multiple design requests while prioritizing key strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Visual Communications and/or Presentation Design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating Visual Storytelling and Presentation Design
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a Corporate environment
- Familiarity with Organizational Development, Leadership Development, or Corporate Learning environments
- Experience creating materials for Executive-level and/or Strategic audiences
- Ability to visually interpret and represent OD frameworks and models
