A top financial services company is seeking a highly motivated UX Designer to work remotely on a contract basis in Vienna, VA. The role involves designing user experiences for internal tools and improving legacy systems.
About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Designing modern, intuitive user experiences for internal tools used by Member Service Representatives
- Translating legacy system functionality into user-centered workflows and interfaces
- Creating high-fidelity user experience and user interface designs for development handoff
- Contributing to the enterprise design system for consistency, accessibility, and scalability
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to refine requirements
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, or Product Design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating End-to-End UX Design across complex or enterprise applications.
- Experience with design systems
- Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams in Agile environments
- Familiarity with Agile Delivery Tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
- Proficiency with Collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Design experience
- Related Degree in design or a similar field
- Experience designing internal tools or employee-facing platforms
- Solid understanding of Accessibility Standards, including WCAG
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Figma
