A health services organization in the St. Louis, MO area is currently seeking Board-Certified or Eligible Physicians for Urgent Care roles across various centers.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Up to 24/month
- Schedule: Weekdays 8a–8p , Weekends 9a–5p (may move to 12-hour shifts)
- Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
Responsibilities:
- Providing urgent care in a high-volume environment
- Treating patients from 6 months through adulthood
- Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, and I& Ds
- Interpreting X-rays and EKGs
- Ensuring patient care and procedural documentation in Epic EMR
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/ Peds
- Must be certified through ABMS or AOB
- BLS (AHA required)
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Strong EMR skills
- Comfortable with high-volume settings
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexible with multiple site assignments
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field
- ACLS certification
- Proficiency in Urgent Care procedures
- Working knowledge of Epic EMR
