A New Jersey-based services organization is looking to add a new UAT Tester to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure software functionality meets user requirements.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories
- Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality
- Conducting thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
- Documenting and reporting bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing
- Working closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience as a User Acceptance Tester or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Desired Skills:
- Certification in Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
