A respected medical center in Neptune City, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant for their Trauma Surgery department. This role is critical in supporting a range of trauma and surgical care tasks within a dynamic medical team.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Days (40%) & Nights (60%)
- Schedule: 3x 12.5 hr shifts/week
- Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care in trauma and surgical cases
- Assisting in surgical procedures and operating room tasks
- Managing patient follow-ups and post-operative care
- Conducting initial assessments and history taking
- Collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Trauma and/or Critical Care experience
- Master's Degree
- NJ Physician Assistant (PA) license
- ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency in Central and Arterial Line Placement
- Up-to-date CDS & DEA registrations
Desired Skills:
- Advanced experience in Procedural training
