A Long Island health services network is seeking a new Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon and SICU Director for a position at a renowned trauma center in Suffolk County.

Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality, evidence-based trauma care
- Establishing care programs for geriatric patients
- Developing a Critical Care Fellowship Program
- Coordinating care with subspecialists
- Managing all aspects of trauma care
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Certified in General Surgery
- Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma Surgery
- ATLS Certified
- Experience in trauma and critical care management
- Dynamic leadership capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to a collegial and patient-focused environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree
- Additional certifications in Trauma Care
- Experience in a Trauma Center setting
