About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Remote
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Flexible, preferably supporting PST or MST hours
- Hours: 8 or 9am – 4 or 5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Setting: Remote, equipment provided
Responsibilities:
The Temporary Prospect Researcher will be responsible for:
- Providing research to drive cultivation and solicitation strategies
- Supporting frontline fundraisers in identifying and tracking major gift prospects
- Conducting regular wealth screenings and updating donor records
- Maintaining donor and prospect records, adding new data, and ensuring data quality
- Synthesizing information into insightful and accurate research profiles
Qualifications:
- Several years' experience in donor and prospect research
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in online research tools
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a virtual environment
- Attentive to detail and capable of maintaining confidentiality
- Problem-solving focus
- Experience with a national organization a plus
