A pharmaceutical company is actively seeking a new, seasoned Technical Lead/Architect to focus on building and evolving a Clinical Operational Data Lakehouse on Databricks.

Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and evolve the Lakehouse architecture as new data sources and consumption needs arise
- Lead discussions on data ingestion, transformation, and governance strategies
- Collaborate with the Data Management team to understand CRF form data and ingestion requirements
- Work with data consumers to align clinical data (EDC/CTMS) with operational needs
- Analyze data patterns to define logic for consistency and quality across ingestion pipelines
- Provide guidance to technical teams on clinical data structures, relationships, and best practices
- Advise data consumers on interpreting data patterns and structures for downstream use
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Python
- Proven ability to design scalable data solutions in cloud-based environments
- Deep understanding of EDC Systems, CTMS Systems, and clinical data integration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
