A social services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed professional to join its Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Queens as a Team Leader.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Program: Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
Responsibilities:
- Providing primary administrative leadership for the ACT team
- Supervising a multidisciplinary team of 7–8 staff
- Leading daily staff meetings and monitoring performance
- Conducting client intakes and presenting findings
- Supporting staff in the field and during emergencies
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant setting
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
- Active NYS license required: LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCAT
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule
- Ability to conduct solo home visits
- Availability during emergencies
Desired Skills:
- Supervisory certifications, if any
- Experience with ACT or similar programs
