A New York City-based health services organization is seeking a licensed professional to join their staff in Queens as a Team Leader / Mental Health Clinician, providing both clinical and administrative support within an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.

About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm ( two 15-minute breaks & one 30-minute break; all paid)
- Setting: 3 to 4 days of Fieldwork; 1 to 2 days Remote
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and group therapy focused on mental health challenges
- Collaborating with the Team Leader on daily operations and staff scheduling
- Coordinating comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans
- Providing crisis intervention and ensuring client safety
- Implementing quality assurance activities for program adherence
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a Behavioral Health role/setting
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
- One of the following licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW); Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT); or , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Familiarity with Therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices for SMI and SUD
- Ability to provide Individualized Counseling and Therapy
- Strong therapeutic background, especially in ACT or mobile crisis settings
- Team management and supervision experience
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide individualized counseling and therapy
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Mental Health
- Certification in a relevant area
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Knowledge of AccuMED EMR system
