An education organization in New York City is seeking a new Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team. In this role, the Teacher Recruiter will be responsible for helping to interview and hire exceptional educators.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 3+ months
- Hours: 9am to 5:30pm
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days in office & 2 days WFH)
Responsibilities:
- Own the candidate journey from resume review through offer acceptance and have a strong drive for results and exceeding daily metrics and KPIs
- Partner with school leaders to understand their staffing needs and ensure we place the right educators in the right classrooms
- Work collaboratively with a team of sourcers and recruiters who support one another, celebrate wins, and work together toward the organization's shared mission
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our joyful, rigorous, and high-performing culture
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience using an ATS
- Strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Skilled interviewer with experience in behavior-based assessments
- Passion for working in a mission-driven, high-performing environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including school principals and senior leaders
