A community services organization in New York City is seeking a hardworking and dedicated professional to join their team in the Bronx as their new Supervisor of Social Services. In this role, the Supervisor of Social Services will be responsible for focusing on leadership in a supportive housing program serving adults with complex needs, including staff oversight without direct caseload responsibilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
- Setting: Supportive Housing Program
Responsibilities:
- Staff supervision and development
- Documentation and compliance oversight
- Crisis management and case conferences
- Program operations and reporting
- Community and mission alignment
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), LMSW, or LCSW
- Experience with Homeless and Mental Health populations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills
- Documentation skills
- Ability to lead and supervise
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
