A community-focused healthcare organization is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its Primary Care team. About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 6pm
- Specialty: Primary Care
- Setting: Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient interviews and intake; prepare patients for triage and provider visits
- Obtain and document vital signs; identify and report abnormal results
- Collect specimens and perform diagnostic point-of-care testing
- Administer immunizations and medications in accordance with established safety and infection control standards
- Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide patient and family education, documenting teaching and follow-up
- Participate in emergency events and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain and ensure proper function of clinical equipment
- Support a positive patient experience through professional communication and compassionate care
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Clinical setting
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (RN or LPN).
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS certification
- Experience in an Ambulatory and/or Primary Care role/setting
- Experience with EMR documentation
- Experience with vital signs monitoring, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Primary Care or Pediatrics
- Familiarity with Ambulatory Care workflows
