Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Build scalable enterprise applications with a focus on performance, resiliency, and reliability
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, architects, and business stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment
- Contribute to system designs that support small, safe, incremental releases across multiple teams
- Communicate technical ideas clearly through discussion, documentation, code, and diagrams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
- 5+ years of professional design and open-source experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies
- 5+ years of experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Exposure to cloud-based deployments and CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum
Desired Skills:
- Airline industry experience, including business processes and supporting technology
- Hands-on experience with Sabre PSS or FOS
- Experience with test automation and manual testing
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, REST, GraphQL, Selenium, TestNG, Postman, SonarQube, Cypress, JUnit, NUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, Playwright, Wiremock, Mockito, or Moq
- Experience with Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with AWS
