Responsibilities:
The Spine Surgeon will be responsible for:
- Performing spine surgeries primarily in Manhattan (potentially in Long Island)
- Managing post-operative follow-up visits in Lake Success
- Consulting with patients in office settings
- Collaborating with the non-operative team, including PMR, pain management, and PA
- Maintaining and enhancing existing patient relationships
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with specialization in spine surgery
- Appropriate licensure to practice in New York
- Surgical privileges at relevant hospitals preferred
- Proficiency in surgical procedures related to the spine
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to patient care and quality
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Skills:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Advanced fellowship training in spine surgery
- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Experience with a multidisciplinary team approach
