An education network in New York City is seeking licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students referred for services.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to speech, language, communication, and swallowing when applicable
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and service delivery in accordance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss evaluation results, student progress, and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other service providers to support student communication needs
- Develop strategies and classroom supports to help students access curriculum and participate in school activities
- Provide consultation to school staff and families regarding communication development and strategies to support student progres
- Maintain compliance with all state, city, and school district regulations regarding special education services
- Track student progress toward IEP goals and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification issued by the New York State Education Department (preferred for school-based roles)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education regulations, and school-based service delivery models
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with children in a School-based and/or Pediatric setting
- Experience working with Children or within Educational settings
