A Massachusetts-based healthcare organization is looking to fill an immediate need on their team in the Concord area with the addition of a new, licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Part-time or full-time
- Setting: 135 -bed facility
Responsibilities:
- Greets customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a positive first impression
- Ensures a secure environment for customer safety and well-being
- Managing patient caseload related to speech/language disorders and dysphagia
- Providing speech therapy assessment, treatment, and intervention
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Master's Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current Speech Therapist Certification in the state of operations
- Experience in Home Health, Acute Care, or Rehabilitation Facility
- Knowledge of Speech & Language Disorders, Dysphagia, and Therapeutic interventions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices
- Empathy and understanding
