A healthcare network in New York City is looking to fill an immediate need at one of its Educational Services in Manhattan with the addition of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday - Full time
- Hours: Flexible (8hrs per day)
- Patient Population: Pediatrics/Young Adults - IDD/DD
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, feeding, and AAC therapy per IEP goals.
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and feeding plans.
- Assess, document, and monitor progress; complete evaluations and update goals.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and medical professionals.
- Support AAC device documentation and authorizations.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- NYSED license as Speech-Language Pathologist
- TSHH or TSSLD certification
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills; MS Office proficiency
Desired Skills:
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Experience with AAC, oral motor, feeding/swallowing, speech motor disorders, PROMPT, and working with students with complex needs.
