A healthcare network in Central New York is looking to add a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3+ months
- Schedule: Part-time (40 hours per month)
- Setting: Inpatient Mental Health
- Patient Population: Adults & Forensic
Responsibilities:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing medical treatment, including:
- Speech/voice/language (expressive and comprehension)/auditory processing/cognition and swallowing (dysphagia) screenings and protocol development
- Clinical diagnostic evaluations
- Swallowing treatment and behavior plans for individuals
- Swallowing intervention/training for groups
- Staff training
- General consultation
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of related work experience
- NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Previous experience treating individuals diagnosed with speech and swallowing disorders and deficits
