An education network in New York is actively seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their Intensive Day Treatment Program in Dutchess County, working with children and adolescents in acute emotional distress within a school-based setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a caseload of 6 children in the elementary IDT program, grades K-6
- Providing weekly individual therapy
- Conducting daily group therapy sessions
- Offering family therapy and crisis intervention as needed
- Facilitating transition meetings involving students and their families
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Social Work experience
- Master's degree in Social Work
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license
- Clinical therapeutic skills with younger children
- Group Therapy skills
- Crisis Intervention Skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience working with Mental Health populations
- Experience working with the Adolescent population
