A health services organization in New York is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their school-based program, supporting adolescents in an intensive day treatment setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm (with a 30-minute break deducted)
- Setting: School-Based Intensive Day Treatment Program
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a caseload of 8 children in the adolescent IDT program, grades 6–12
- Participating in IDT admissions with children, families, and school liaisons
- Providing weekly individual therapy
- Delivering daily group therapy
- Offering family therapy and crisis intervention as needed
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Social Work experience
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Experience in behavioral contracts
- Experience in positive reward systems
- Experience in social skills training
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy and patience
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in social work or related field
- Knowledge of Mental Health settings
