A nonprofit education network in New York City is currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their growing team.

About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3+ months
- Schedule: 5 Days a week
- Hours: 8:30am to 4pm (7.5 hours per day; 30-minute lunch)
- Student Population: Special Education paired with the visually impaired
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ learning, development, and adjustment needs
- Collaborate: Work with other professionals to support students
- Provide individual and group counseling as per IEPs
- Create and implement Individual Educational Plans
- Design and implement behavior modification strategies
- Incorporate various strategies into the student program
- Keep parents informed and assist with skill development
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited NYS Social Work program
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Pediatric population
- Experience in a School setting
- Experience working with Developmental Disabilities
