About the Role:
A leading NYC organization is seeking a Social Service Supervisor to oversee Case Managers in a transitional housing program. This role ensures high-quality services for clients.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, day shift
- Some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach Case Managers; provide training and staff development
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and oversee day-to-day case management
- Conduct crisis intervention and ensure client assessments and Individualized Living Plans (ILPs) are completed
- Audit case records and ensure compliance with policies and funder requirements
- Facilitate client workshops, activities, and house meetings
- Serve as Acting Program Director when required
Qualifications:
- M.S.W. or related degree with 3–5 years of residential counseling experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Experience with at-risk populations, including those with medical, mental health, or substance use challenges
- Familiarity with EBP, MI, and TIC
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish or CASAC/CASAC-T certification a plus
