A recognized services organization in New York City is actively seeking a new Service Coordinator to join their team in the Bronx and provide case management and housing support within a supportive housing program.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Supportive Housing
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a point of contact for tenants and property staff for repairs
- Providing case management and crisis intervention
- Developing and maintaining service plans
- Facilitating tenant meetings
- Documenting tenant contact and progress
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a Behavioral Health and/or Mental Health setting
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Strong judgment and crisis management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Case Management background
