A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Senior Test Engineer to join their team in the McLean, Virginia area.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute functional, regression, and automated test scripts
- Build and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Perform API testing and data validation
- Partner with developers, analysts, and product owners to resolve defects
- Contribute to CI/CD testing pipelines and quality gates
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA experience across functional and automation testing
- Hands-on automation in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Java, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience building automation frameworks and reusable components
- Strong SQL skills for backend validation
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and defect tracking systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile delivery
Desired Skills:
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications
- CSA or CSSA for Pega environment testing
- Financial Services background
