A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a new Senior SQL Developer to join their team, designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL solutions for critical business operations and data workflows.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)
Responsibilities:
- Designing, writing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and database objects
- Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Analyzing and tuning underperforming queries and database objects
- Collaborating with data architects and modelers
- Building and maintaining database objects for reporting and analytics
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on SQL Development experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools like SSIS, Informatica, dbt, or Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Python or a similar Scripting language
- Strong skills in Query Optimization
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud Data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse
- Exposure to Data Governance and Metadata Management
- Experience in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare
- Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
