A global tech services organization in California is currently seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer to support its Global Physical Security Lab in Santa Clara. In this role, the Senior Security Systems Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, cameras, and biometric technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Owning and executing software updates and firmware upgrades across platforms
- Creating upgrade plans and coordinating maintenance windows
- Monitoring system health and performance metrics
- Leading incident triage and implementing corrective actions
- Technical ownership of Lenel OnGuard and managing VMS
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of significant experience supporting Enterprise Physical Security systems
- Strong experience with Software Patching and Change Management
- Hands-on experience managing IP camera environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems
- Proven expertise in Troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Lenel OnGuard certification
- Experience with Lenel OnGuard Programming
- Experience administering Video Management Systems
- Advanced experience with Axis Camera Ecosystems
- Experience with Biometric Systems
