A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager for a great opportunity with their team in the McLean, Virginia area.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables aligned to business objectives
- Drive execution by coordinating teams, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Identify and resolve cross-organizational dependencies and risks
- Mentor and guide team members to support effective execution
- Lead projects in an Agile environment, supporting iterative planning and sprint execution
- Partner with product owners, technical leads, and development teams to align priorities
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage backlogs, track work items, and monitor delivery metrics
- Ensure backlog grooming, sprint planning, and tracking are effectively maintained
- Analyze project challenges, dependencies, and constraints to determine optimal solutions
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs
- Experience with Waterfall/traditional delivery
- Experience with Agile delivery
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management and tracking
- Experience working with enterprise technology or digital delivery teams
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and large-scale initiatives
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Desired Qualifications:
- PMP certification
- Scrum Master certification (CSM or SAFe SM)
- Experience managing multi-team, enterprise-level programs
- Strong background in Agile coaching and delivery optimization
