A financial services organization in New York City is seeking a Senior IT Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for a demanding trading environment. The role supports desktop systems, trading applications, and end users across a complex, fast-paced technology landscape.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: Coverage between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM )
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 4 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline and escalation support for desktop environments and trading floor users
- Troubleshoot Windows endpoints, hardware, drivers, and device-related issues
- Support trading and financial applications, including related add-ins and user access needs
- Manage workstation and laptop imaging, deployment, patching, and system maintenance
- Use support and management tools to track incidents, maintain inventory, and resolve technical issues efficiently
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting Desktop or Trade Floor Technology in a Financial Services environment
- Strong expert-level knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Hands-on experience with SCCM imaging and deployment
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office and common desktop productivity tools
- Experience with service management and device management tools, including ServiceNow, Intune, or MobileIron
- Experience in troubleshooting virtual desktop infrastructure or related remote desktop technologies
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer support skills
Desired Skills:
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience supporting trading applications
- Exposure to Qualys, Workday, Cisco phone systems, SQL, or LDAP
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
