A Fortune 50 financial services organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to support advanced analytical initiatives across complex data environments.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***

 Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyze complex datasets and drive business insights
  • Apply probabilistic theory, game theory, and dynamic systems concepts to solve real-world problems
  • Design and optimize data models, database structures, and data pipelines to support analytical initiatives
  • Perform data mining, analysis, and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities
  • Develop and deliver data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
  • Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, algorithms, and analytical methodologies
  • Support development of predictive models, simulations, and optimization strategies
  • Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Quantitative Analysis, or related fields, and/or a Doctorate in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of Probabilistic Theory, Game Theory, and Dynamic Systems Theory
  • Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Algorithm Development
  • Experience with Database Design, Data Mining, and Data Modeling concepts
  • Proven ability to develop effective Data Visualization strategies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of algorithmic, Bayesian, Nash equilibrium, and related Game Theory disciplines
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebook/Lab, and modern analytical frameworks
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Plotly
  • Exposure to Cybersecurity frameworks and related Data Analysis
  • Experience working in large-scale, enterprise, or regulated environments
