A tech services company in Atlanta, Georgia, is actively seeking a new Senior Data Modeler for a promising opportunity with their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts to define data structures and standards
- Define and enforce data modeling best practices, naming conventions, and design patterns across projects
- Create and manage data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata documentation.
- Ensure data integrity, normalization, de-normalization, and referential integrity in model design
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or database design
- Expertise in dashboard development using Sigma
- Good knowledge on Snowflake
- Good knowledge of data modeling using Erwin.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and 3NF/OLTP models
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience modeling data for enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and/or cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and how data models interface with them
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment
