Responsibilities:
- Architecting and designing enterprise-scale data platforms and pipeline solutions using Spark, Azure Databricks, and related technologies
- Building and optimizing data models and dimensional schemas for complex analytics and AI/ML use-cases
- Leading technical design reviews and mentoring junior data engineers
- Establishing data quality, governance, and metadata management frameworks.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Data engineering or related fields.
- Expert-level SQL and experience with modern Data Warehouses
- Experience designing and maintaining large-scale Data Pipelines using Spark, Airflow, etc.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Scala
- Advanced understanding of Data Modeling and Warehousing concepts
- Experience with Cloud platforms at scale
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience architecting data platforms
- Experience with Databricks and Lakehouse Architectures
- Expertise in real-time Data Streaming and Event-driven Architectures
