A top financial institution is seeking a Senior COBOL Engineer to join its technology team, providing support to critical core banking and tax-related systems on IBM Mainframe platforms.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week; EST)
- Setting: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining IBM Mainframe COBOL applications
- Writing and maintaining JCL for batch processing
- Utilizing IBM Mainframe utilities like Sort, IDCAMS, and ADRDSSU
- Supporting FIS Systematics core banking applications
- Developing and supporting CICS online transactions
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IBM Mainframe COBOL development experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong experience with IBM Mainframe utilities
- Experience with FIS Systematics
- Experience with EZTrieve and ChangeMan
- Collaborative and analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Desired Skills:
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies
- Experience with Regulatory Reporting systems
