A health services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing staff as a Senior Accounting Manager.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating quarterly and annual SEC filings
- Delegating work and managing accounting staff
- Overseeing daily accounting and reporting activities
- Implementing accounting policies and procedures
- Managing account reconciliations and preparing financial analyses
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPA certification
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SAP
- Proficiency in General Ledger Accounting software
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting
- Advanced certifications in Accounting and/or Finance
