A leading service organization is seeking a Safety Specialist for their Jacksonville, FL location. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting safety improvements on-site.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 7pm to 5:30am
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and informing management of compliance issues through audits
- Facilitating investigation processes
- Maintaining required paperwork to comply with regulations
- Entering information into internal databases
- Training and assisting others in safety responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in an EHS-related field or a related Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to communicate needs across the organization
- Calm demeanor in challenging situations
- Flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends
