A nonprofit services organization in New York City is actively seeking a new Residential Manager to focus on leadership and operational improvement.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
- Hours: 7am to 8pm (varies)
- Setting: Residential IRA
- Patient Population: IDD
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with OPWDD and NYS Justice Center regulations
- Supervising daily operations with a focus on safety
- Overseeing staff, including DSPs and an Assistant Manager
- Reviewing and approving staff schedules
- Supporting community inclusion and activity planning
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain)
- IRA Billing experience
- Program Management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to de-escalate situations
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of OPWDD policies
