A nonprofit organization in NYC is currently seeking a new Residential Manager to join their growing team in Brooklyn. In this role, the Residential Program Manager will be responsible for performing managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF operates according to current regulations and that all clients receive risk-appropriate care.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
- Hours: FLEX (alternating schedule)10am to 6pm or 11am to 7pm or 12p to 8pm
- Patient Population: Developmentally Disabled Population, Adults
Responsibilities:
- Perform managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk-appropriate care
- Coordinate the activities of the shift and determine priorities as directed or required to ensure consumer safety
- Assist in supervising the functions and activities of the Direct Care Counselors
- Help plan community inclusion activities
- Ensure meals are planned for the following shift, and ingredients are set out
- Function independently in times of facility coverage, including responsibility for appropriate action in crises and medical emergencies per agency procedure
- Prepare documentation and written reports per agency requirements
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's Degree (will consider someone without a Bachelor's Degree if they have extensive experience in the field)
- Familiar with AMAP and SCIP
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field
