A New York-based non-profit is seeking a Residential Coordinator to oversee a single ICF residential program in the Bronx supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This is a unique, blended leadership role combining Residential Coordination and Treatment Coordination , requiring a rare mix of hands-on leadership, clinical documentation experience, and regulatory expertise .

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full operation of residential ICF program  
  • Supervise:
  • Residential Manager
  • Assistant Manager
  • Program staff and interdisciplinary team members
  • Act as the primary on-site leadership presence , reporting to the Assistant Director
  • Ensure strict compliance with OPWDD, State, and Federal regulations (ICF = high audit scrutiny)
  • Maintain exceptional documentation standards and follow-up processes
Treatment Coordination (Blended Component)
  • Oversee and contribute to:
  • Life plans
  • Monthly/progress notes
  • Data tracking and outcomes
  • Ensure all documentation meets QIDP standards and regulatory expectations
Operational & Team Leadership
  • Coordinate across:
  • Nursing
  • Behavioral specialists
  • Care coordinators
  • Lead interdisciplinary meetings and ensure program alignment
  • Provide coverage for management gaps when needed
  • Support training, staff development, and performance management
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews
  • Support program improvements and operational initiatives
  • May need to transport individuals using agency vehicles (post-conversion)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (required)
  • Must be QIDP-qualified (required to sign off on documentation)
  • At least 2+ years of supervisory experience in a residential setting
  • Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations and compliance standards
  • Valid Tri-State or NY driver’s license (required)
