A housing services organization is seeking a Residential Aide in Manhattan, New York to support a transitional housing setting and help maintain a safe, stable environment for residents and visitors. This role involves monitoring the premises, documenting activity, and assisting with daily operations in a client-facing residential program.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with 2 days from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Setting: Transitional housing
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the area and provide support and resources to residents and visitors
- Maintain a welcoming, safe, and stable environment throughout the site
- Complete hourly rounds inside and outside the facility to support safety and security
- Document incidents, crisis interventions, attendance, shift activity, visitors, and progress notes
- Greet individuals entering the site, screen residents, visitors, and packages, and direct people as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Skills:
- Associate's degree
- Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health concerns, or substance use issues
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- NARCAN and crisis prevention experience
- Familiarity with harm reduction principles
- Experience with de-escalation and incident response
