A health services network in New York City is seeking a new Residential Aide at a safe haven site in Brooklyn, supporting service delivery for the homeless population in a temporary position through Summer 2026.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Hours: 12am to 8am (40 per week)
- Setting: Residential
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the area and providing resources to clients
- Maintaining a welcoming, safe environment for clients
- Making hourly rounds to ensure safety and security
- Incident management, including reporting and documentation
- Maintaining records such as daily attendance and shift reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience with Homeless and/or Crisis populations
- Computer savvy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Experience with Incident Management
