A nonprofit services organization in New York City is seeking a new Residential Aide to join its team at a transitional housing site in Brooklyn. In this role, the Residential Aide will be responsible for providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness with a focus on safety and resource management.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Evening
- Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday
- Hours: 4pm to 12am (1-hour lunch)
- Setting: Transitional housing
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the area and providing resources to clients
- Maintaining a welcoming, safe, stable environment
- Conducting hourly safety rounds
- Incident management and reporting
- Record keeping, including documentation and reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience with Homeless populations and Challenging situations
- Foundational understanding of Harm Reduction principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Experience with Mental Health or Substance Use issues
