A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their skilled nursing facilities as a House Supervisor.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, including rotating weekends
- Hours: 3:30pm to 12am (8.5 hours per shift)
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating activities and the operation of assigned patient care units during shifts
- Conducting nursing rounds to assess and address potential issues
- Collaborating with clinical supervisors on patient flow management
- Working with management for positive patient care outcomes
- Addressing patient care issues and complaints
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar setting
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- Experience with Joint Commission standards
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Working knowledge of Epic EMR
