A New York City-based healthcare organization is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a role at a women’s shelter. In this position, the Registered Nurse (RN) will provide on-site nursing support, care coordination, and clinical services in a shelter-based setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Setting: In-person, shelter-based clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site nursing services under the direction of the Nurse Manager
- Conduct client intakes and coordinate referrals to primary care, mental health, and psychiatry services
- Support medication administration, medication reconciliation, refills, and safe medication storage
- Perform nursing screenings, vital signs, ordered procedures, and clinical documentation
- Coordinate care for high-risk clients and collaborate with medical, case management, and administrative staff
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Clinical experience in a Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, Psychiatric, or Primary Care setting
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Experience performing phlebotomy, blood draws, or specimen collection
- Experience with electronic medical record documentation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Strong oral and listening skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with clients and staff
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual
- Experience working with homeless individuals
- Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR
- Prior experience as a Phlebotomist
