A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team in Midtown Manhattan. In this role, the Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for working within a transitional housing facility for individuals with chronic mental illness.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Part-time
- Schedule: 3 days a week
- Hours: 28 hours total per week
- Setting: Homeless Shelters
Responsibilities:
- Participating in weekly clinical meetings with medical staff
- Performing intakes on new clients for referrals and care connections
- Acting as a liaison for drug user health services and HIV care
- Managing cases for high-risk clients with priority medical needs
- Assisting with medication authorizations and refills
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a Psychiatric/Mental Health settings
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Comfort with electronic medical record documentation
- Excellent oral and listening skills
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Ability to interface with clients and staff
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks Electronic Medical Record system
- Experience working with Homeless individuals
