A prominent health services company in Staten Island, NY, is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to support the health and well-being of individuals in a residential facility
setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
- Hours: 7-8 hour shifts
- Setting: Residential Facility
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and following through on health care services for assigned program(s)
- Arranging medical services and issuing referrals
- Providing follow-up on medical issues
- Conducting staff training in medical administration and infection control
- Handling control of communicable diseases and implementing preventive measures
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program of Professional Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Knowledge of the equipment used by individuals receiving services
Desired Skills:
- CPR certification
- Experience in Community-based Health Services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities
- Experience in an OPWDD and/or Group Home setting
