A community services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing residential facility in the Bronx, providing crucial nursing support and care to children and staff.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 12pm to 8pm or 1pm to 9pm or 2pm to 10pm or 3pm to 11pm
- Setting: OPWDD residential facility
Responsibilities:
- Delivering direct nursing care to children on the residential floors
- Monitoring student health status and responding to medical issues
- Supporting school staff with health documentation and compliance audits
- Communicating with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Administering emergency medications as needed
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience working with people with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Able to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Compassionate and flexible
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience in OPWDD or special education settings
- Pediatric Nursing experience
