A health services network in Madison County, New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a promising Per Diem position with their Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Per diem, scheduled dates from April to November
- Hours: 8am to 4pm (8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch_
- Setting: Hospital (PACU/Surgical Services)
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia
- Assessing consciousness and vital signs
- Identifying and responding to complications
- Managing pain, nausea, and other post-op symptoms
- Providing continuous patient monitoring and rapid intervention
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of PACU or ICU experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Strong skills in Post-Op/Anesthesia Recovery
- Ability to work in a high-acuity environment
- Effective communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- ASPAN knowledge
- Experience with EMR systems
