A New York City-based nonprofit organization is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to support an ICF group home in Queens, serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Sunday (Part-time)
- Hours: 7am to 7pm (12 hours per week)
- Setting: ICF Residential / OPWDD
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee medical care for assigned individuals
- Perform health assessments and monitor for changes in condition
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Supervise AMAP staff and ensure proper medication administration
- Review MARs, treatment logs, and clinical documentation
- Develop and maintain individualized nursing plans
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CPR certification
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with IDD population
