A community services organization in New York City is actively seeking a new licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their staff at one of their group homes in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Group Home
Responsibilities:
- Providing oversight for medical appointments and ongoing medical issues
- Monitoring and coordinating health services
- Training and overseeing staff in nursing-related tasks and documentation
- Monitoring care during hospitalizations
- Overseeing delegated nursing functions
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience with IDD and/or Group Home populations
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse license
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- OPWDD diabetes certification
